IMSI (Intra Cytoplasmic Morphologically Selected Sperm Injection)

Intracytoplasmic Morphologically selected sperm injection is a sperm selection method in IVF using a microscope, which allows selection of best sperm with the help of very high magnification of x7000 Times for microinjection into the egg.

IMSI helped to increase the rate of pregnancy from 30% to 60%. This technique improved the success rate among men with the worst issues. Couples with a history of failed IVF-ICSI cycle benefited by this procedure. Couples with unexplained infertility are also benefited by IMSI.
