Ovulation Induction & Follicular Monitoring

Hormonal therapy is used in ovulation induction to encourage egg development and release, or ovulation. Fertility or Hormonal drugs are given during ovulation induction to encourage the release of multiple eggs in a single cycle. In order to increase the likelihood of a successful fertility treatment, a number of mature eggs will then be harvested. Because some eggs will not fertilize or develop normally after being fertilized, multiple eggs are taken.
